E-Service will use this year’s Autumn Coin-Op Show (ACOS) to underline its growing position as one of the industry’s leading suppliers of spares, repairs and technical support, alongside a line-up of new technology designed to help amusement and gaming operators run safer, smarter and more efficient businesses.
Visitors to Stand 10 will be able to see solutions spanning age verification, cash and change management and contactless payments, all backed by the extensive spares, repairs and support operation that has become an increasingly important part of E-Service’s business.
With significant changes taking place within the UK supply market, E-Service says it has invested heavily in ensuring operators, manufacturers and engineers continue to have access to the components, expertise and technical support they need to keep equipment operating.
The company’s Castleford operation now holds an extensive inventory of amusement and gaming spares and components, supported by experienced engineers and repair facilities.
E-Service believes this combination of stock availability and technical knowledge puts the company in an increasingly important position within the UK market – not simply supplying new equipment, but supporting machines throughout their working life.
Age verification gets smarter
One of the major attractions on Stand 10 will be E-Service’s MyCheckr age-verification solution integrated with an automated entrance gate.
The technology provides operators with a practical way of verifying the age of customers entering age-restricted gaming premises. Once a customer’s age has been successfully verified, the system can automatically open the entrance gate.
The installation can also alert staff when intervention may be required and can be integrated with a venue’s existing CCTV infrastructure.
For operators, the objective is to combine technology with existing staff procedures to create a more efficient and robust approach to age-controlled entry.
Thomas change machines return to ACOS
E-Service will also showcase Thomas change machines, which continue to form an important part of the company’s offer to the amusement, gaming and leisure sectors.
The range provides operators with established cash-handling technology backed by UK-based parts availability and ongoing technical support from E-Service.
At a time when operators are increasingly conscious of the importance of long-term product support, E-Service says access to replacement parts and engineers is becoming just as important as the initial equipment purchase.
Making contactless simple
Contactless payment technology will form another major part of the ACOS display.
E-Service has continued to expand its cashless and contactless solutions for amusement and gaming applications, giving operators the ability to introduce card and mobile-wallet payments without unnecessarily complicated infrastructure.
The company’s solutions are designed to help traditional amusement equipment participate in an increasingly cashless consumer environment while giving operators straightforward payment and settlement options.
Keeping the industry running
However, E-Service says the most important message it will bring to ACOS this year goes beyond any individual product.
As the UK supply landscape evolves, the company is expanding its role as a central source of spares, repairs, components and technical expertise for the amusement and gaming industries.
Its Castleford depot stocks a substantial range of components covering equipment from across the sector, while its technical team provides repair and support services designed to extend equipment life and minimise downtime.
E-Service Sales Director Paul Scott said the company’s priority is to ensure customers know they have somewhere dependable to turn when they need parts, repairs or advice.
“The industry is changing and we recognise that operators and engineers need certainty about where they can obtain the parts and support that keep their equipment working,” said Scott.
“We have continued to invest in our stock, our repair capabilities and our technical expertise so that E-Service can provide that support. Whether a customer needs a component, a repair, advice on an existing machine or wants to look at new technologies such as age verification and contactless payments, we want E-Service to be the first call they make.”
He continued: “ACOS is the perfect opportunity for us to demonstrate the breadth of what we now offer. Of course, we will have some exciting technology on the stand, but the bigger message is that we’re here to support this industry for the long term.”
Visitors can meet the E-Service team and see the MyCheckr age-verification system and gate, Thomas change machines and contactless payment solutions on Stand 10 at ACOS 2026.
