ACOS 2018 - Hitting The Right Notes

The fifth ACOS has closed on a high note with exhibitors reporting good business and organisers revealing a growth in visitor numbers.

Show Organiser Karen Cooke confirmed: “This year was the fifth ACOS and the show had an upbeat mood. We’ve received good feedback on the quality of visitors, with several of our exhibitors confirming that they have written new business at the show. The show has also attracted more visitors this year with more than 1200 attendees over the two days,” explained Karen.

The ACOS formula of business and networking in a relaxed environment has certainly struck a note with show-goers. The new floor layout with stands grouped around a central bar and food outlets was well received, and the networking evening at the nearby Albion pub was well attended.

Louise Janeway, Director of exhibitor Hemisphere West was impressed with the show’s atmosphere; “As a first time exhibitor we’ve loved the quality and openness of the show,” revealed Louise.

Hemisphere West was one of several new exhibitors joining an established band of leading industry brands, including The United Distributing Company, eLOQ Security, Fantasia Leisure, Project Design & Technology and Shipley Creative.

Tony Glanville, Managing Director of RLMS Sales was also very happy with the event, confirming, “As always a busy show; we’re seeing the people we need to see.”

Wexel Bingo’s Sales and Projects manager Chris Shipley commented, “An enjoyable show that has been a great opportunity to engage with existing customers and also generated interesting new leads.”

At leading licensed and generic plush and prize supplier Whitehouse Leisure International, Sales Director Mark Titterton confirmed that the company had enjoyed a successful ACOS: “Everything has been as it should be and ACOS is a great social event. An excellent show that has exceeded all our expectations,” concluded Mark.

ACOS was launched in 2013 after numerous requests from within the coin-op sector and has remained true to its original score; a UK focus, serious business and unparalleled networking opportunities in a relaxed environment.
