With a fresh new look, new venue and even more exhibitors, it’s perhaps unsurprising that advance registrations for the Autumn Coin-Op Show are well up on the previous year.
Show organiser Karen Cooke explains: “The fifth ACOS is due to take place on 3rd and 4th October and I’m pleased to report that visitor registrations are already significantly ahead of this time last year. The industry has really got behind ACOS, to the point where the show is now a must-attend event for anyone in the UK’s coin-op or amusements sector, be they manufacturers, operators or owners of single site or multiple leisure destinations,” reveals Karen.
The last-minute move to Olympia London in 2017 has had a positive outcome, with exhibitors and visitors happy with Olympia’s good transport links and the choice of accommodation and restaurants nearby. Karen Cooke has confirmed that Olympia will now be the show’s home for the foreseeable future.
Timing is everything and ACOS’ October date has certainly played its part in the show’s success. “Our industry is a very sociable one and networking is high on the show’s agenda. ACOS provides the perfect opportunity to reflect on the summer’s trading and to examine many of the products that manufacturers will launch in the New Year,” confirms Karen.
ACOS possesses a unique quality in that it’s all about the UK; everything you see and everyone you meet will be focused on the UK market for amusements and coin-operated equipment. Add to this an attendee list that’s a veritable ‘who’s who’ of the industry, then ACOS becomes an extremely time efficient way of doing business: -
